Start with what needs doing

Which kind of yard work do you need?

Recurring mowing

For a lawn that is already manageable: mowing, string trimming, edging, blowing hard surfaces, and a final cleanup check.

What this service includes

One-time yard cleanup

For accumulated leaves, loose landscape debris, and manageable overgrowth. We agree on what gets cut back, collected, and removed before work begins.

What this service includes

Hedge and ornamental care

For shrubs crowding a walkway or plants needing shaping and selective pruning. This is estimated separately from a standard mowing visit.

What this service includes

Landscape refreshes

For planting-bed improvements and small installations. Share what you want to keep, replace, or improve so the estimate addresses the right work.

What this service includes

Scope before price

What will yard work cost?

Recurring lawn maintenance starts at $45 per visit for qualifying, regularly maintained residential lawns. That is a starting price for routine care, not a flat rate for every property or a cleanup price.

For a one-time cleanup, we estimate the actual work. A small lawn covered in leaves can take longer than a larger lawn needing only a routine cut.

When comparing quotes, compare the same work: mowing only versus mowing with edging and cleanup, and debris collection versus collection with hauling.

From overgrown to manageable

A cleanup should leave a clear next step.

  1. Tell us what has fallen behind. Include the street address, Largo as the city, the areas needing attention, and whether you want one-time help or ongoing care.
  2. We review the property. We discuss access, plants to keep, the proposed cutback, debris handling, and any work outside our scope. A visit may be needed to prepare the estimate.
  3. Review the price and schedule. The estimate defines the agreed work. If you want recurring mowing after the cleanup, we discuss that separately.

Before a scheduled visit, arrange access, secure pets, remove toys and small personal items, and point out irrigation heads, shallow lines, or hidden obstacles. Let us know about any areas you do not want cut or pruned.

Care that follows the lawn’s growth.

Largo’s warm, wet growing periods can turn a missed mowing interval into a larger job. Cooler or drier conditions can slow growth. We recommend a mowing interval based on the lawn’s condition instead of assuming every property needs the same schedule year-round.

Leaves and palm litter, crowded beds, and turf under mature shade need different attention from open grass. Tell us which areas matter most so the estimate includes the details you expect.

Read our Florida mowing guide for the one-third rule and grass-specific mowing considerations.

Questions about yard service in Largo

Can I request a cleanup without signing up for recurring mowing?

Yes. A one-time yard cleanup can be estimated on its own. If you want ongoing care afterward, we can also discuss a recurring schedule and price.

Does your $45 starting price cover an overgrown yard?

No. The $45 starting price applies to a recurring visit for a qualifying, regularly maintained residential lawn. An initial cleanup or overgrown first cut needs its own estimate based on the work involved.

Do you take the yard waste away?

Hauling can be included when agreed in the estimate. We specify whether debris will be hauled, left in a designated area, or prepared for pickup. Municipal pickup eligibility and preparation requirements must be checked for the property; we do not assume contractor debris is eligible.

Is hedge trimming included with lawn mowing?

String trimming around lawn edges and obstacles is included in a standard recurring visit. Pruning shrubs or shaping hedges is different work and is quoted separately unless your estimate expressly includes it.

Should my Largo lawn be cut weekly or every two weeks?

The right interval depends on grass type, growth, weather, and the season. Fast-growing turf may need weekly mowing, while slower growth can allow a longer interval. We discuss the schedule with you and confirm route availability before service is booked.

Can you handle storm damage or a heavily overgrown property?

Send a description of the debris and access conditions. We review manageable landscape cleanup individually. Hazardous debris, large or unstable trees, heavy land clearing, and work requiring specialized equipment may need another qualified provider.
